Dan O’Brien OAM interviews Navy Veteran Norm Smith (son of a WW2 RAAF Veteran) who as a young lad fudged his way into the Navy Band and travelled far and wide. Norm’s civvie life post RAN as a gym instructor, car salesman, dance instructor, Coastal Patrol Volunteer etc., brought him into contact with people like Johnny O’Keefe, and the tragic drowning of the Carr brothers off Lurline Bay, NSW in 1972.
