Our station lit the fire for community radio in Australia. In response to a lack of unbiased news stations, we created a platform for the community’s voice. We are the first, and oldest, Australian community radio station.
Fifty years later, Radio Adelaide continues to be run almost entirely by volunteers. We rely on the support of our subscribers to keep us going, and to keep supporting local arts, music, and ideas.
