Bel Mac – Army Brat: Life, Community Radio & The Break Room

Self-described ‘Army Brat’ Indigenous woman Bel Mac says childhood experiences as part of a military family taught her versatility in life, plus compassion, understanding and empathy for others, and this is being put to good use for her involvement in Community Broadcasting.
Bel is a Kokotha/Wirangu / Kaurna woman. She’s also the Radio Adelaide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Programs Producer. Her new show is called ‘Break Room’, bringing lots of new indigenous people into the studio and behind the microphone.
