Rainwater to Drinking Water

In Adelaide, we are used to turning on a tap and having immediate, easy access to clean drinking water, but there are still many communities across Australia where that is not the reality.

Western Sydney University has developed an integrated rainwater harvesting unit designed to capture rainwater and convert it into clean drinking water.

Dr Alim, an associate professor from Western Sydney University, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to tell us more about this innovation.
