A Takayna Win!

It’s not every day the environment wins – but as the result of a Federal court case, Chinese company MMG has been ordered to cease operations building its road and tailings dam in pristine Tarkine (Tarkayna) wilderness. The Bob Brown Foundation has been maintaining a blockade there for months, and many activists have been arrested. Hopefully this reprieve will become permanent. Barometer’s Barry Mitchell spoke to Scott Jordan, Tarkine campaigner for the Foundation.
