Jim Stevens Veteran: With 2RAR in Korea

Posted on: Mon 2 May 2022

The Korean War began in June 1950 and by the time it came to an uneasy armistice in 1953, around 17,000  Australians had fought in it; over 300 had died; thousands were wounded; and 42 are still missing unaccounted for.   Jim Stevens was one of the lucky ones who survived what is often called a ‘Forgotten War.’  We re-broadcast the interview we did with Jim in 2019.
