From Emergency to the Stage

Posted on: Fri 7 May 2021

After years of working in hospital emergency departments and crossing the globe to Australia, Nurse Georgie Carroll has entered the world of stand-up comedy.

Born in Manchester, but now living in Adelaide, Georgie has sold out nationally across 7 solo stand-up shows. She has become a familiar face on Australian TV since her Network 10 comedy special “The Gloves Are Off”.

Nurse Georgie is in the midst of her latest tour “Off The Charts”, after the release of her book of the same name.

Georgie joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Paul Davies about her road to comedy.

You can catch Georgie Carroll at the Dunstan Playhouse tonight if you can find a ticket!
