COVID-19 Wastewater Testing

South Australian health authorities have revealed COVID-19 fragments have been found in our wastewater, despite there being no known cases of the virus.

People feeling unwell near areas where wastewater returned a positive COVID-19 result are encouraged to stay home and get tested, but how worried should we really be about these test results?

Associate Professor in Chemistry Cobus Gerber from the University of South Australia joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Paul Davies to explore.
