Fringeland at Arthur art bar puts small artists on the big stage and raises a metaphorical fist against the sentence that is so dreaded by many artists: ‘Can I pay you in exposure?’
We caught up with owner Cassandra Tombs and heard all about Fringeland’s Berlin squat style building, her homemade ‘exposure’ currency, and the rotating shows in various art rooms this month – from a giant tree nest to Japanese rope tying shows.
