On this day in history:

Disney released their second animated feature film, Pinocchio in 1940. The film involves a man who creates a wooden character who dreams of becoming a real boy.

Pinocchio must prove he is truthful, brave and selfless to fufill his dreams of becoming a real boy.

Additionally, today in 1997 was the first cloning of a a mammal.

This mammal was Dolly the sheep, and was cloned using a cell taken from a Mammary gland, which is the part in your breast which provides breast milk.

Dolly the sheep kicked on for seven years until she died of a death unrelated to the cloning.

In 1999, Eminem kick started his career with his EP – The Real Slim Shady.

Slim Shady is Eminem’s alter-ego, a more mischievous character, Slim Shady is a controversial figure who still gets mentioned to this day.
