Resonating with the Celestial

Posted on: Mon 22 Feb 2021

“The whole universe, the whole earth is part of this greater soundscape and with Sacred Resonance we’re trying to augment and bring this invisible world into the visible…”

Darren Curtis

The immersive sounds of the celestial return in full display as Sacred Resonance co-directors Darren Curtis and Bradley Pitt combine science, art and the spiritual to present three unique shows as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Performances include StellarSphere – Fulldome, Sound Bath Experience, Plant Songs: Sound Bath in the Celestial Gardens and Plant Songs: art installation & exhibition, presented in collaboration with Project SuperNature and In Search of the Divine.

StellarSphere – Fulldome Sound Bath Experience – presented across 18 shows at the Adelaide Planetarium is set to offer an immersive journey into a live full-dome performance of harmonic sounds and celestial imagery beginning 25 February.

Darren Curtis and Bradley Pitt speak with Festival City’s Emma Wotzke about managing three unique shows for this year’s Fringe Festival and the concepts that transform the unobservable into the observable.
