On this day in 1974, “Lucy The Skeleton” was discovered in Ethiopia. “Lucy The Skeleton” was the first mostly complete early-human skeleton and believed to be over three million years old.
Also, on this day in 1980, John Lennon and Yoko Ono released their album Double Fantasy. Three weeks after the release Lennon was fatally shot.
