No Plan for Back to School in US

Similar to our schedules, students in the United States are returning from their holiday breaks – but unlike Australians, those in the states have more reasons to be cautious.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos spoke on US television channel CNN to deliver the Presidential statement on fully reopening schools by September.

DeVos has received backfire for reiterating President Trump’s decision to defund schools which do not comply with reopenings and general lack of planning months into the pandemic.

Radio Adelaide’s US Correspondent Taylor Kaplan joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to elaborate on this and other news from The States.
