Posted on: Wed 20 May 2020

A group of young Queenslanders are making Australian history as they challenge billionaire Clive Palmer’s Waratah Coal over infringement of human rights. This will be the first climate mitigation case to challenge a coal mine over infringement of human rights.

The organisation is Youth Verdict, founded to use the law to fight for the rights of young people!

Co founder, Melaine McAuliffe, spoke with Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis about the Clive Palmer case.
