Andrew Sniedze & Phil Clay: Sinking of the SS Pareora

Posted on: Mon 9 Mar 2020

100 years ago, Australian newspapers ran headlines about tragic loss of life in South Australian waters when the coastal steamer Pareora sank in shark infested waters.  Phil Clay’s father was a crewman aboard.  Guest interviewer, Andrew Sniedze, who spent many years in the Merchant Navy, interviews Phil about the cover-up by the surviving crew during the Marine Board of Enquiry.
