Marion Mugs offering a cuppa and company

Posted on: Tue 2 Apr 2019

We all benefit from having the company of others and sometimes we need to remind ourselves to get out the front door and find a place where we feel safe and can have a chat, even if it’s just for a few minutes or even a few hours.

Every Monday, volunteers at MarionLIFE pull the biscuit tin out of the cupboard, put the kettle on, and open their doors for anyone who wants to chat and find others to connect with for an hour or two.

Trevor Hayley is Volunteer Team Leader for the Marion Mugs program, which is held every Monday; he and Marion Mugs members, Gary, Elizabeth and Lee sat down for a cuppa and a chat with Small Change‘s Lisa Burns.
