Doug Leak: WW2 Bomber Command Veteran

Posted on: Mon 1 Apr 2019

Doug Leak is one of the very few remaining Australian World War 2 Bomber Command Veterans.  Born in South Australia at the beginning of the Great Depression,  Doug went on to join the Royal Australian Air Force during WW2, flying in operational missions that contributed to restricting the German war effort, and  materially supporting  the eventual liberation of France.  A fascinating trip down memory lane with Doug!

Recognising the 98th Anniversary of the formation of the Royal Australian Air Force.
