Premier Marshall on SA Aboriginal Action Plan

Posted on: Thu 7 Mar 2019

In this week’s program, we talk with the Premier of South Australia, the Hon Steven Marshall MP, who is also the South Australia Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation.

We talk with the Premier about a range of issues and will be focusing on the South Australian Government Aboriginal Affairs Action Plan for 2019 – 2020. In particular, we find out more about what the Plan says about jobs; keeping children safe; remote housing; an Aboriginal languages interpreting service in South Australia; critical health issues across Anangu communities; and APY governance issues.

We also ask the Premier about his views on the proposal for a national radioactive waste site in regional South Australia and the proposal for drilling in the Great Australian Bight off the shores of South Australia.
