Helen Hopkins: Hallowed Ground – Women Doctors at War

Posted on: Mon 4 Feb 2019

On stage in Adelaide from the 15th to the 17th of February…     Produced by Shift Theatre, and based on the book Not For Glory by Dr Susan Neuhaus and Dr Sharon Mascall Dare, this play follows the personal journeys of four women, united in their determination to utilise their skills in the field of medicine on active service within the military. From the pioneers of World War One, through to contemporary conflicts, their stories come to life in vivid accounts of revelation, loss, struggle, hope, humour and kinship.  Helen Hopkins encourages us all to attend…
