On This Day — 1 February

Posted on: Fri 1 Feb 2019

On this day in 1865, Abraham Lincoln signed the 13th Amendment to their Constitution which formally abolished slavery in the US.

This day is also relevant for music history as in 1964 ‘I want to hold your hand’ by The Beatles reached the number one in the American charts.

Breakfast producer David Bucio joins Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to speak about these breakthrough events.
