On The Right Track keeping us safer

Posted on: Fri 1 Feb 2019

In this week’s program, we find out about getting a driver’s licence and ways to stay safe on the road if you live in a remote community.

Our interview is with Jade Wilson, who is the Acting Coordinator, of “On the Right Track”, which is the Aboriginal Road Safety and Driver Licencing program run by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure.

We’ll be chatting with Jade about the work that ‘On the Right Track’ does in remote communities; the changes that have happened as a result of the program; and the benefits of the Program to drivers and their families and community.

To find out more about ‘On the Right Track’ you can visit their website.

This program was made possible with support from the Community Broadcasting Foundation. Find out more at cbf.org.au
