In 1948, Australian Prime Minister Ben Chifley announces the first ever mass produced car for Australia, the Holden FX.

In 2001, George Harrison, member of the Beatles passed away.

We also celebrate the birthdays of C.S.Lewis and Jerry “The King” Lawler.
