9 November, a significant day for literature and journalism.

The Swedish writer Stieg Larsson passed away on this day in 2004. He was the author of the best-selling Millennium trilogy which included The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. 

Also, the iconic magazine Rolling Stone hit the newsstands for the first time in 1967 with John Lennon on its cover.
