UN criticises veil ban in France and Europe prohibits single-use plastic

The United Nations Human Rights Committee declared that the French law, banning full-face veils in public, violates the religious freedom rights of Muslim women.
Also, the European Parliament voted to ban 10 single-use plastic items such as straws and cutlery.
