On This Day…

In 1971, the London Bridge was moved to Arizona USA.

In 1999, thousands of people assembled to watch a giant Ferris wheel move into position on the South Bank of London between Waterloo station and Westminster Bridge.

In 1962, the BBC banned the song ‘Monster Mash’ by Bobby ‘Boris’ Pickett.
