Jarad McLoughlin: Disability and LGBTIQ Advocate

Posted on: Tue 18 Sep 2018

Jarad McLoughlin is one of Adelaide’s most outspoken figures in both Adelaide’s disability and LGBTIQ communities. Currently working as a journalist, researcher, mentor, volunteer, presenter of the radio program De-Stigmatised and member of multiple committees, Jarad is a tremendous advocate for his community.

Having graduated with a Bachelor of Media from the University of Adelaide this year, Jarad (who has autism, Ayme-Gripp syndrome and other vision and hearing impairments) sits down with Benito to discuss his life, a recent television appearance and what the future holds.
