On this day in history…

In 1926, American Olympic swimmer Gertrude Erderle became the first woman to swim across the English Channel in 14 hours and 34 minutes.

In 1970, the first Festival for Peace was held in New York, paving the way for future music benefit concerts such as Live Aid and more.

Breakfast Producer Zoe Kounadis joins host Tom Mann to chat about these events from this day in history and more.
