Takumi – Savouring Japan

Takumi Yakitori in Melbourne Street, North Adelaide, has steadily developed a distinctive character, for food, drink and hospitality.

For afficionados of Japanese whisky, which has come from virtually unknown to international hot property in only a few years, Eddie Yi’s collection of top (and more affordable) drops is most impressive.

It includes many that are currently unobtainable or accessible only to super-rich Hong Kongese keen to impress.

Along with that is a developed range of Japanese shochu spirits, sake and specialty beers.

Which can almost overshadow the first point for visiting  – and re-visiting – Takumi: Eddie’s finely flavoured yakitori and other Japanese delicacies.
