Elevating Young Aboriginal Women

It has been a horrific month for women in Australia.

Several women have fallen victim to acts of male violence, which prompted heated debate in parliament following comments by Senator David Leyonhjelm.

In more positive news, the YWCA are running a leadership program for young Aboriginal women.

As we celebrate Indigenous women throughout this year’s NAIDOC Week, our Feminist Insider Jemma Taylor brings leadership program coordinator Lisa Warner in for a chat with Breakfast’s Casey Tonkin.
