Australia’s Progress Towards a Sustainable Future

In 2015, Australia signed up to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals which aim to be achieved by 2030.

Next month, a report will be published showing our progress in achieving these goals.

Dr Shirin Malekpour from Monash University says there is some good progress in Australia, but there are some gaps, particularly in climate action and reducing inequalities. 

Dr Shirin Malekpour, Research Leader in Strategic Planning and Futures Studies from Monash University, who helped with consultation from the university sector joins Breakfast’s Tom and Casey.
