Is Australia’s Drought caused by Climate Change?

After a dry and warm autumn across the southern half of the continent, much of Southern Australia is experiencing severe drought.

Although Australia is no stranger to drought, the recent dry spell, coupled by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s recent visit to the affected parts of the country, has led to many asking whether climate change has something to do with this.

Dr Benjamin Henley from the University of Melbourne joins Breakfast’s Tom and Casey to explain more.
