Spotify Boycotts R Kelly and Other Artist Who Breach New Policy

Posted on: Mon 21 May 2018

Popular music streaming service, Spotify, has removed the music of American artists, R Kelly and X-X-X TEN-TA-SHION from their playlists.

This decision was driven by Spotify’s new hate conduct policy which they decided R Kelly had breached.

The new policy is broad and vague which may leave more artists open to being censored.
