Can live meat exports be made humane?

The live meat exporting industry is faced with challenges regarding the welfare of animals on long voyages to other countries.

These challenges may lead to the ban on live exports.

Professor Andrew Fisher from the University of Melbourne joins Breakfast’s Tom and Casey to discuss what measures could be taken to make these practices more humane.
