Tasmania’s Parliament Parity

One of the disappointing outcomes of the recent South Australian election is the drop in the number of women in SA’s House of Assembly.

Fortunately, earlier this month Tasmania became the first state to have more women than men (13 to 12) in their parliament.

Feminist insider, Jemma Taylor from the YWCA, joins Casey Tonkin live in the studio to discuss this and more.
