The New Zealand National Party has elected a new leader after former leader, Bill English, resigns. Simon Bridges is taking over the Party.

There is a sudden surge in people wanting to learn the Maori language, with hundreds of people on wait lists around the country.

New Zealand’s ACT MP, David Seymour, is criticised over a poor choice of t-shirt.
