Y Connect to empower young women with disabilities

Posted on: Fri 15 Dec 2017

A new project that seeks to empower young women living with disabilities to identify and progress their goals for employment or career development has been launched by YWCA Adelaide.

The project, Y Connect, has been made possible through funding from the Julia McLeod MS Benevolent Fund and will commence in January 2018.

Young Women’s Leadership Coordinator at YWCA Adelaide, Lisa Gascoigne, speaks to Small Change‘s Lisa Burns about how the project came about, how it will run and who is encouraged to apply.
