Climate Council report, Critical Decade 2017: Accelerating Climate Action, looks at the increasingly urgent task of turning around emissions and achieving zero net emissions globally to keep warming to 2 degrees centigrade.
The report also looks at Australia’s emissions reduction targets in relation to that urgency, and finds them wanting.
Professor Will Steffen, the report’s author, talks to Barry Mitchell.
