Keep off the grass: the impact of signage in public spaces

Posted on: Fri 3 Nov 2017

Universal design is the concept of creating inclusive environments, products, services and technology that can be used by as many people as possible, without the need for adaptation.

Michele Saint-Yves is a member of the City of Adelaide Access and Inclusion Advisory Panel, and spoke at last weeks’ Universal Design Forum here in Adelaide.

Michele sat down with Small Change’s Lisa Burns for a chat about how her passion for universal design first started, the things she’s learnt about the impact that signage in public spaces has on peoples’ thinking and behaviour, and what she’d like to see in Adelaide.
