New Program helping Cancer Patients

Posted on: Thu 19 Oct 2017

A trail has just finished for a program which will dramatically change the lives of cancer patients.

The program called “Finding My Way” is a free service which will allow people diagnosed with cancer to address common issues that are experienced during diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

The program has been spearheaded by the team at Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer with funding from NHMRC. Now, Cancer Council South Australia are partnering with Flinders Fundation to make “Finding My Way” freely available to the wider Australian Cancer Community.

Breakfast presenter, Morgan Burley, caught up with Finding My Way program director, Dr Lisa Beatty, from the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer to discuss more.
