A year ago, Australian singer songwriter Julia Jacklin released her debut album “Don’t Let the Kids Win”.

Combining waltzing melodies, country-inspired guitar riffs and soft, soulful vocals, “Don’t Let the Kids Win’” continues to be an example of outstanding yet simple songwriting.

Breakfast Producer Milly Schultz-Boylen caught up with Julia to chat about what she’s been up to since then and how releasing this album changed her life.

Milly started by asking Julia how it feels to have released her debut album a year on.
