On this day in history, legendary musician John Lennon was born in Liverpool in 1940.

From pushing to limits of popular music to promoting a message of love and peace, John Lennon continues to have a strong influence on music but also on popular culture.

Breakfast producer Milly Schultz-Boylen joined Tom Mann in the studio to chat about the life of this much-loved musician and other events from this day in history.
