The Fight to End Terrorism

Terrorism is a concern to people all around the globe, as this year as seen an increasing amount of terrorist attacks from Europe to the U.S.
As concerns grow for an assault on Australia, The Federal Government is calling for stronger laws to fight terrorism. Two of the proposed measures include a national database of driver’s license photos, and pressure on states to hold terrorist suspects for longer periods without charge.
Breakfast presenter Tom Jordan speaks with independent journalist Ben Eltham from New Matilda to discuss the issue further and other federal politics.
