On this day in history a great win for trans rights after Renee Richards is allowed to play against Virginia Wade after spending over a year battling for the rights in courts, Holocaust diarist Anne Frank is recorded to have been sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp and Mariah Carey became the fifth act to hold the top two positions in the US Singles Chart.
