On This Day;

In 1886, The Statue of Liberty, a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States, is dedicated in New York Harbour by President Grover Cleveland.

In 1958, Buddy Holly appeared on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand. It would be Holly’s last major TV appearance before an untimely plane crash that took his life.

Breakfast producer Zak Stuart joins Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to elaborate on these events in history.
