Help Protect Our Dolphins

Posted on: Wed 10 Apr 2019

Our beloved Port River dolphins are under threat from a plague of plastic rubbish in the dolphin sanctuary with over 900 kilos of waste clean up from the site since November last year.

as well as the rubbish polluting the waters, the dolphins have also been killed and injured by blunt-force traumas mostly from speeding vessels.

This Sunday, Sea Shepherd are hosting a family friendly clean up day at the dolphin sanctuary.

Breakfast’s Zoe and Tom were joined by Caroline Armstrong, Marine Debris Coordinator from Sea Shepherd Australia.
