In 1990, the largest art robbery in US history took place when 13 works of art worth over $500 million were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.

In 1944, more than 2000 women trampled guards & floorwalkers to purchase 1500 alarm clocks announced for sale in a Chicago Illinois department store.

In 1966, Scott Paper began selling paper dresses.

In 1996, the Sex Pistols announced that they were reuniting for a 20th anniversary tour.
