EU not open to renegotiation

Brexit is set to happen in just over a month and tensions are getting high.

While the President of the European Council Donald Tusk considers that putting a hard border between the Republic of Ireland and the UK’s Northern Ireland ‘is not open to renegotiation’, the British PM Theresa May urges for an amendment of that rule.

Also, Macedonia is on its way to being accepted into NATO.

European correspondent from Deutsche Welle Ineke Mules joins Breakfast‘s Tom Mann to talk about these controversial events from the old continent.
