Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD affects one in twenty Australian children.

Typical symptoms include lack of attention and impulsive behaviours. These symptoms may have significant impacts on a person’s ability to socialise and learn.

Doctor Alison Poulton, Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics at the University of Sydney, joins Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to talk about the causes, the treatments and the misconceptions surrounding ADHD.
