Pop-up Kitchen changing lives

Posted on: Mon 5 Nov 2018

A new charitable initiative is offering respite to those in need on the Le Fevre Peninsula.

Ran by The Port Church, Pop-up Kitchen is a weekly event put on for the community that offers an all-you-can-eat two-course meal, fresh produce, groceries and a wide range of clothes for anyone to take home, free of charge.

Run every Wednesday night in Largs North, Pop-up Kitchen provides a service to hundreds of people in some of Australia’s poorest communities.

Packed Lunch producer Benito interviews the church’s pastor, Ben Carbone, to get a better understanding of this initiative.
