Caitlin Fry: Pipes and Drums in our Military

Posted on: Mon 5 Nov 2018

On 11/11/18 South Australia will be treated to a spectacular display of massed pipes and drums marching from North Adelaide into the city, to the war memorial on North Terrace, and terminating at the Torrens Parade Ground.

This is part of an international event, and today Caitlin Fry tells us the history of Pipes and Drums in the Military.

Caitlin, the Chief of the Mt Barker Caledonian Society, can often be found playing the bagpipes at the Littlehampton Anzac Day Dawn Service, and of course many other commemorative events.
